Software/Java Developer

Primary Responsibilities

This role focuses on backend software development using Java, with involvement in payment gateway integrations, payment processing, and building reliable software applications. The selected candidate will work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Design, develop, and test software components and applications related to payment gateway integrations and processing
Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
Work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to ensure successful project delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across applications and integrations
Contribute to building robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in payment processing and software development
Support system reliability, code quality, and continuous improvement across development processes

Programming language: Java
Database: SQL databases and SQL queries
Version control: Git
Backend concepts: Object-oriented programming, design patterns
Domain: Payment gateway integrations and payment processing
Nice to have: Spring Batch, scheduled jobs, cloud platforms, microservices, frontend basics, and AI-assisted development tools

What you’ll bring

Job Requirement.

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

Strong proficiency in Java programming
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
Experience with SQL databases and SQL queries
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Strong communication and teamwork skills
