About the role
The Role
This is a mid-level engineer who owns features and components end-to-end within our client's delivery engagements. You would design, build, and operate production software and services that power enterprise AI systems in regulated environments, working closely with senior engineers, architects, and delivery teams. This role requires solid hands-on engineering capability and the ability to deliver reliably with limited supervision. They work on high-impact problems for institutions operating the financial and digital infrastructure of the region.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and operate production-grade services, APIs, and integrations end-to-end.
- Own delivery of well-defined components, from design through testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build backend systems in Python (FastAPI or similar) and contribute to React-based interfaces and streaming APIs.
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation, and observability tooling.
- Use AI tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, and documentation.
What you’ll bring
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 6 years of experience building production-grade software systems.
- Strong engineering capability in at least one modern language (Python strongly preferred).
- Experience designing and operating backend services, APIs, and databases.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with React, Node.js, or modern web application patterns is an advantage.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required across all markets. Strong communication skills are important for collaboration across engineering teams, delivery teams, and enterprise stakeholders.
