Job Description:
Senior DevOps Engineer, AI Infra
This role focuses on designing, automating, and maintaining scalable and secure AWS infrastructure while improving deployment processes and production reliability across development and production environments.
Architect, design, and implement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS using cloud best practices.
Lead infrastructure provisioning and automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
Build, manage, and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise the reliability and performance of cloud-based environments.
Implement cloud security best practices and ensure environments meet internal and external compliance standards.
Automate operational and infrastructure processes using Python, Bash, and related scripting tools.
Manage and optimise AWS resource utilisation and cloud costs.
Administer and support Linux environments across production and development systems.
Deploy and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
Work with development and operations teams to improve deployment workflows, automation, and engineering productivity.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior DevOps engineers.
Job Requirements:
Ideal Background
5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across services such as EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and related services.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Strong Linux administration experience, including Ubuntu or CentOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security groups, VPC architecture, encryption, and cloud security practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
