SDE II

Role Overview:

This role focuses on designing, building and operating production-grade software services and backend systems that power enterprise AI and digital transformation programmes.

You will work across backend development, cloud deployment, production support and delivery, while collaborating closely with senior engineers, architects and delivery teams.

Designing, building and operating production-grade backend services, APIs and integrations.

Developing backend systems using Python, FastAPI or similar frameworks.

Contributing to React-based interfaces, Node.js services or streaming APIs where required.

Deploying and managing workloads on AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM and CloudWatch.

Building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing workflows, infrastructure automation and observability tooling.

Working on unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and production monitoring.

Debugging and resolving production issues while improving reliability, scalability and performance.

Contributing to low-level designs, code reviews, documentation and reusable engineering assets.

Using AI tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, documentation and delivery quality.

Experience building production-grade software systems.

Strong backend engineering experience, ideally with Python.

Experience designing and operating APIs, backend services and databases.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM and CloudWatch.

Good understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, observability and DevSecOps practices.

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or similar cloud engineering tools.

Familiarity with React, Node.js or modern web application patterns would be advantageous.

Exposure to AI/LLM applications, RAG or agentic frameworks would be a plus, but not mandatory.
