About the Role
Mobi, a leading and Bank Negara Malaysia-regulated online payment gateway in Asia, is seeking a seasoned Product Head – Operations. You will lead the operations team managing our innovative financial technology products across Malaysia, Indonesia, and India, ensuring seamless product delivery, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Your mission will be to optimize operational processes, collaborate closely with product, technology, and risk teams, and drive high standards of service quality and risk management to support Mobi’s diverse payment methods and expand market adoption.
Job Requirements:
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you must bring the following skills and experience:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in FinTech operations, product lifecycle management, or financial services, ideally with payments, lending, or banking products.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize operational processes for digital financial products.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks, including KYC, AML, and local regulations such as Bank Negara Malaysia.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with experience mentoring high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency using FinTech platforms, operational dashboards, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience working across multiple markets in Southeast Asia, specifically Malaysia, Indonesia, or India, is a plus.
