Job Description:
A growing boutique cyber security consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Security Consultant / Pen Tester to join their expanding cyber security team. The company specializes in offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming, and security advisory services, working closely with enterprise clients across multiple industries.
The role focuses on identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and web applications, helping clients strengthen their security posture through practical and actionable remediation recommendations.
Working closely with both clients and internal technical teams, the consultant will be involved in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing engagements, and offensive security projects across a variety of environments. The role also offers exposure to emerging threats, security research initiatives, and evolving offensive security practices within a highly technical and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web applications, infrastructure, and enterprise environments
- Identify, validate, and exploit security vulnerabilities
- Perform offensive security engagements and security assessments
- Work closely with clients on remediation recommendations and technical reporting
- Stay current with emerging attack techniques, tools, and cyber security trends
- Collaborate with internal teams on security research and technical initiatives
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
- Ideally 2+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, VAPT, or offensive security
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCP+, CRT, CREST, or similar
- Strong understanding of network protocols, web application architecture, and OWASP Top 10
- Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with technical stakeholders
