Job Description:
Client Solution Architect
The Client Solution Architect (CSA) is the technical authority during enterprise pursuits and strategic solution engagements. The CSA leads architecture discussions, shapes technically credible solutions, validates delivery feasibility, and supports commercial teams in structuring scalable and deliverable engagements.
This role operates across our client's core offerings including Agentic Data Modernisation, Agentic Process Transformation, and VM Migration. The role requires strong working knowledge across enterprise data architecture, agentic AI systems, cloud infrastructure, security, governance, and enterprise modernization patterns, with deep expertise in at least one domain area.
The CSA works closely with the Client Solution Partner (CSP), Forward Deployed Partner (FDP), Forward Deployed Architect (FDA), delivery teams, and AWS stakeholders to ensure pursuits are technically sound, commercially viable, and operationally deliverable. This role remains engaged through mobilisation and early delivery phases to ensure the transition into delivery is structured, documented, and operationally aligned.
All team members at the client's location use AI tools effectively in their daily work. AI assistants and workflow automation tools are expected to improve architecture design, proposal development, estimation, proof-of-concept development, technical analysis, and solution validation activities.
What You Will Do
- Lead technical solution design across enterprise pursuits and strategic client engagements.
- Conduct architecture workshops and technical discussions with client CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, enterprise architects, AWS architects, engineering leadership, and transformation teams.
- Understand business priorities, technical constraints, governance requirements, security expectations, and operational realities across regulated industries including banking, telecommunications, insurance, and other enterprise sectors.
- Design scalable, secure, and production-ready enterprise architectures across AI, data, cloud, and modernization initiatives.
- Own the technical proposal lifecycle including architecture definition, scope clarification, assumptions, dependencies, non-functional requirements, technical risks, and delivery estimation.
- Build and own proof-of-concepts (POCs) independently using AI tools and engineering accelerators. The expectation for this role is hands-on ownership of early solution validation and prototype development without dependency on junior engineering support during pursuit stages.
- Define architecture approaches across AWS services, modern cloud platforms, open-source ecosystems, and enterprise technology stacks including AWS-native services and technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Kubernetes, Apache Iceberg, Spark, dbt, Airflow, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise integration platforms where appropriate.
- Shape solutions across platforms including Neo, ETL Migration Crew, agentic orchestration platforms, and enterprise modernization accelerators.
- Work with the CSP and FDP to ensure the commercial structure aligns with technical feasibility, delivery assumptions, and operational constraints.
- Define security, resilience, governance, compliance, performance, scalability, and operational requirements as core architecture inputs from the beginning of the engagement.
- Participate in architecture governance reviews, security reviews, compliance discussions, and technical due diligence sessions with client stakeholders and AWS teams.
- Stay involved through mobilisation and early delivery phases to ensure the Forward Deployed Architect (FDA) inherits the engagement with full architectural context, rationale, risks, assumptions, and delivery alignment.
- Support expansion opportunities within active accounts alongside the CSP and FDP by shaping follow-on programmes and technical transformation roadmaps.
- Build reusable solution assets from every pursuit including reference architectures, sizing models, proposal frameworks, evaluation models, migration approaches, governance templates, and technical accelerators.
- Contribute reusable intellectual property and technical standards into the client's broader knowledge base so future pursuits and delivery teams operate from an increasingly stronger foundation.
Job Requirements:
What We Are Looking For
Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise cloud architecture, AI transformation, or enterprise technology consulting within complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong experience leading enterprise technical pursuits end-to-end including architecture definition, solution shaping, estimation, proposal ownership, and technical validation.
- Ability to independently conduct initial technical and architectural discussions with enterprise clients, AWS architects, enterprise architecture teams, and senior technology stakeholders.
- Strong AI fluency and hands-on experience using AI tools, coding assistants, workflow automation tools, and prototyping platforms as part of day-to-day architecture and solution development activities.
- Cross-domain technical understanding across enterprise data architecture, agentic AI systems, cloud modernization, security, infrastructure, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong expertise across enterprise cloud and modernization services relevant to the client's offerings. Deep AWS expertise is strongly preferred; however, candidates should also demonstrate strong understanding of broader enterprise cloud, AI, and data technology ecosystems.
- Experience across AWS services relevant to AI, data, modernization, governance, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise modernization patterns across banking, telecommunications, insurance, and regulated industry environments where governance, security, and architecture decisions are heavily influenced by industry-specific operational and regulatory constraints.
- Strong experience leading proof-of-concepts, technical validations, architectural workshops, and enterprise solution discussions.
- Strong commercial awareness including pricing models, delivery estimation, operational feasibility, and margin protection considerations.
